I'm pleased to say that the little fella has been sold early! - The collector who bought the White Rabbit from last month contacted me to buy the piece so that they made a pair. I'm stoked that they are going to be seen together and will post a pic up if the buyer sends me one over.

To all those that were waiting for the release time - please accept my apologies - to be honest I was unsure whether or not it was the right thing to do - but the buyer was the first to contact me and I think it is only right that people know what happened.

I may be worrying too much - I hope so as I really appreciate the kind words and the interest in the pieces that everyone has shown.

If you feel that this has been the wrong thing to do - please let me know and I will make sure that pieces aren't sold before the release time / date.

Well here is my first custom dunny. I was really stoked by the response the White Rabbit got last month that I decided to put all other customs on hold and continue a theme with this little fella. He comes complete with hooka pipe and for the art on the box I painted it up like a mushroom - more pics on Flickr

He'll be going on sale on Friday 4th early evening time (GMT) so stop by then if like him.

White Rabbit - Chinese New Year 2011

Ok, ok - so I know it's been a long time - nearly a year in fact but here we go my latest custom all finished up. With inspiration from Alice in Wonderland and more than a little nod to Tim Burton, this little fella is built on the mini munny platform and comes as usual with his own custom wooden hand painted box.

Will be putting him up on the shop from Tuesday 2nd Feb in time for Chinese New Year, which you will have guessed by now is the Year of The Rabbit

Rhaar - the white tiger

Just in time for Chinese New Year (26th Jan - 14th Feb) here is Rhaar, the white tiger (Bái Hǔ). Rhaar is a mini munny and comes in his own custom wooden box. 2010 is the year of the tiger and the white tiger is one of the Chinese horoscope symbols. A quick photo from my phone - a couple of things to finish (whiskers) and the box and he should be done for the 26th Jan (the start of the Chinese New Year) and ready for the 14th Feb (Chinese New Year Day). Finished shots here in a couple of days.

Another WiP - this one's for Chinese New Year in a few weeks time. I am unable to paint at the moment due to the cold and damp weather over here right now so am queueing up the sculpting ready for them all to be primed and painted. (Hoff is still unfinished). But thought I would share this - he's a mini munny and so will be coming complete in laquered wooden box. He's yet to earn his stripes but he's a snarly little fella that's for sure.

Thought I would post this 10" Teddy Troop WiP. I'm loving the scale of this custom - very liberating after working on mini Munnies up till now. This guy is Hoff - well at least one half of him is when he gets his red Speedos. The other half is a very unwelcome addition to his lifeguard lifestyle. Further explanation to follow....

Say hi to Dave. Completed this custom mini munny a couple of weeks ago - but wanted to wait until Rontek300 (my trade partner on the Kid Robot series 4 trade) had received him. Skulkies

Just finished these - hopefully in time for Halloween. Edition of 6 blind boxed Skulkies. Series One consists of one each of Vanilla, Gold Tooth, Glow in the dark, Day of the dead, Horned and Jet Black. Each Skulkie is about 2" and totally hand made, sculpted and painted, so each is unique in it's own individual way and comes with a lil' gold Friff logo round the back. You can get yours here now!! Something for Halloween

Due to drop Series One (an edition of 6) of these little fellas. Each one is hand made (no molding for this set) and hand painted and will be - blind boxed!! Will have more images here and up on line to buy on Monday. Looking forward to getting these out and seeing what everyone thinks.

Wow - nearly a month to the day since my last post - and here is a sneak at what I've been up to - this fella is mini munny for the Kid Robot Series 4 artist trade - where the theme was Sci-Fi - will post up full picks and details when trade is finished next week. Really happy with this custom - don't want it to go!

Looks like a busy couple of weeks ahead - I'm in the Kid Robot Forum Series 4 Mini Munny trade (thanks to del730 and Rsin for letting me in) - the theme is Sci Fi - nice! I'm fighting hard the temptation to post work in progress pics, but I think its coming along nicely. had a couple of technical problems to work through - mainly what order to do each part in and also the sculpting is proving tough - trying to get a balance on the level of detail.

Had requests for some and all of the Elements series, and am working on another two minis (portraits) which are presents - I'll post pics of those later

So as I can't really show any pics at the moment I thought I would post the graphic for the fifth element - the last one is the series - as a teaser

Ok so here are the four symbols for my first custom Munny series based on the elements. I have posted some shots of the work in progress onto some of the forums but thought I would get just the graphics up here to get the blog started and until I had had a chance to get the decals onto munnies and their boxes (which I am trying to get sprayed and laquered in time for the latest Kid Robot MunnyWorld custom competition)
